One of the joys of my childhood was having my dad take me to a big flea market in nearby Nashville, where I would find boxes and boxes of cheap comic books for sale, although my dad would rarely let me spend more than a few dollars. This page aims to reproduce that "what magical comic will be the next one I come across" feeling and includes only Silver Age comics, from the late '50s up to that moment in late 1974 when DC started phasing out their 100-page giants, the new X-Men were still yet to be launched, and regular-sized comics started increasing in price from 20 to 25 cents. These "virtual comic book longbox finds" are sorted by publisher and by a few genres, and appears in a separate window. Hover the mouse over the images to see what treasures the cardboard comic book box contains ... although if you're on a smartphone, you're out of luck in that regard ...
